to fade in set your end marker at the point of the piece where you want full volume to be reached.
press alt c for effects
u for volume
i for fade in
arrow to one of the choices and press f4 to see how it sounds.
when you get the one you want press enter
Do the opposite at the end of the piece using the start marker and o for fade out

Hi,
If you look through the menus, you should see a fade in command and a fade
out command. They might be in a submenu.

In Goldwave 4, which is what I have, I go to the Effects menu, down arrow
into it, up arrow to the volume submenu, right arrow into that, then look for
either the fade in or fade out command.

Hi,
I have to do some editing of of music recordings using goldwave and need
to
be able to fade music in and out.
I have looked at the manual but can't understand where these controls are,
and how to use them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Vinny
