I use Media Coder from sourceforge which is great because you can do batch
conversions into mp3, mp2, ogg, flac, wave and many more file types. Also
you can extract audio from mpeg or avi.

Hello!
But is switch free of charge?
I use oxelon media converter from oxelon.com.
This works really great.

Does anyone here know about a program that can extract audio from avi files
and convert them to mp3? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in
advance.
