Yes, some of those discs are indeed on my hard drive in flac now. I'm not a
sound forge user, so would have to discount that particular option.

works quite well for what you want to do. They do have a stand-alone
download of the batch converter, but I don't think it's the same thing, or
at least the last time I checked, it wasn't speech friendly.
