Wow, I didn't find a lot on MP4B, but I did locate iPod Audio Book Converter at http://www.sjhaley.com/ipodabc/. Looks like an interesting format and an interesting application. It'll create MP4B audio books from other sources, such as MP3, WAV and so on.
