The only difference in CDRs and CDRs for music is the royalty you have to pay when you buy media. Also, usually you can't burn anything on a stand alone burner unless you buy the higher priced media. Another example of how an industry should go about killing itself.

Hi,
When purchasing blank cdrs, the manufactures distinguish between cdrs, and cdrs for music. I have always used regular cds for burning and ripping. Are there differences, does one sound better, last longer, etc.?
Thanks.
