F.S. realised that that is the way most people like to operate so they
provide a menu function for it.

Use insert+J to go to the Jaws menu. Go down to utilities and in the
utilities menu, you will find an entry for sound cards which will take you
into a sub-menu that shows your sound cards plus an entry called Windows
default sound device. The default device is whatever you have set as the
default device in control panel|sounds|audio devices.

Subject: 2 Sound cards and JAWS

Hi all.

I've just moved onto JAWS 11.

In previous versions of JAWS and on XP Home computers, I have been able to
put JAWS through the on-board sound card and speakers, whilst sending all
other audio out to an external Soundblaster sound card.

This was achieved by inserting a line of text in the JFW.ini file.

I attempted to duplicate this method in JAWS 11 but unfortunately, it did
not work.

Anyone had a go at doing this yet? Very much welcome your advice if you
know how to do this.

Very best wishes.
Andy.
