hello, if you dont use a burning program, you can use windows explorer.
when you insert a blank cd into the drive a list of options will appear. click open writable cd folder. then click on the folder name where the files are stored. then copy each track. then when you click on write to cd you will have options 1. audio cd and 2 data cd. check 1 of those and then hit next. depending on setup windows media player opens and you select start burn. and it flies no problem.

i use this all the time. but i also use nero 8.

thanks les

Thanks for a prompt reply.
I burn with WMP 11 and after loading the temporary folder, in the file menu,
I enter on: write these files to a cd. The wizzard opens and pressing,
next, button the burn immediately begins and burns a beta cd; the dialog box in which a beta or audio can be selected does not appear, and, I end up with
a beta cd instead of an audio the disc cannot be reused. Any help
appreciated, Don

Subject: Rewritable cd's

Because of the difficulty in burning some music files, I am considering
burning on a rewritable cd and copying the files to a regular disc. Is
this feasible?? Any advice appreciated, thanks, Don
