Greetings, I have recently purchased Textaloud and the AT&T voices Mike and Chrystal. I am using Window-Eyes 7.1. I have converted a text file book into 17 mp3 files using AT&T's voice, Mike. I am looking for somebody who might provide some helpful hints on using other voices, as well as perhaps some tips on improving inflection, et cetera. About the only changes I have done other than selecting Mike are: slowing speed to 5x and fixing the pronunciation on a couple of words. It might be helpful to know how to easily change voices, from AT&T natural to Eloquence or some other product, insert timely pauses and so forth.
My goal is to make books and articles available to other readers on the web. The one book I have done so far is "Holiness: The False and the True" which can be found at: http://bartimaeus.us/pub_dom/holiness-mp3.zip Feel free to contact me directly at my email address or phone number below. I subscribe to the digest version of pc-audio and so my response to your comments may not be answered for a day or so. Listening for His shout! Grant E. Metcalf Bartimaeus Alliance of the Blind, Inc.
