Glad to hear it. I hope you had a good holiday if you celebrate
Thanksgiving and a good day in any case.

hi rick,
it's great to hear that. :-)
vista and 7 actually are cooler in this windows mixer thing as you can
set volume for each application and so on.

Hi: Brian, I answered his post on another list. I told him about the
"Stereao Mix" or as it is sometimes called "Looping" technique of
setting up his sound card to record anything that comes out of his
speakers. That is how it is done either using Goldwave, Total Recorder
or any of the other software packages. You do not need them to do this
but they add allot of easier features. So, actually he got what I have as
far as this topic goes. I had to set up the sound card to use stereao
mix and then fool with the volume settings to get it to work right with
Goldwave. I know you might set them in the Goldwave or other software
themselves but that did not work for me so I just did it in Windows XP.
Also, he is running Vista and that might be diferent. Anyway, I did not
want you to think his question was just left out to dry so to speak.
Well, finished my first cup of coffee and it's off to do some music
stuff.
See you on the flip side.

hi,
I am sorry you don't get any responce on this one, but people here seam
to only have interest in total recorder, gold wave, sound forge and all
these dinosaur programs. :-)
If I could give you a useful answer I'd definately do so.
Best regards

Subject: Extracting audio From Flash
hi.
do you know of any way to extract audio from a flash based or video
production or web cast?
are there any tools that can be used to do this.
i do not want to have to listen to the audio dropping out of web casts
from
microsoft.
as even though i have a braodband connection.
the audio keeps dropping out, because tied to a flash or video file.
so is there a way to extract the audio from the presentation.
then convert it to a mp3 audio only.
any ideas.
Marvin.
