John- When you open Wavepad and press F5 to start recording, you are prompted to choose what bit rate first and then after pressing enter, you should see to combo boxes which should say your sound card your using. If not, you can arrow through until you land on the soundcard you want and then you will hear it.

Subject: Recording With Wavepad Hello list members, I am trying to record some jazz tunes from my DishNetWork dish player DVR receiver, I am using wavepad to try to do this. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have my sound card sat up to take audio from the line in jack. But when I play back my recording, I don't hear anything. Please tell me how to fix this. Thinks in advance. John. To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [email protected] To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [email protected]
