Hi! I just cannot live without my Airport Express, Airtunes, Airfoil and Airfoil Speakers, these things are just so handy if you want to stream audio around the place.
For the uninitiated, the Airport Express is a small Network base station just right for those who are starting with a wireless network and a couple of machines, this device has an analogue/digital audio output which can be connected to a Hi-Fi system, external speakers and so on, you can use this as a pair of "Speakers" in Itunes thus streaming audio from Itunes to your Hi-Fi. Airfoil is a piece of software which "Hijacks" the audio from an Application such as DVD Player or Safari and streams it to the Airport Express or Airfoil Speakers. Airfoil can be thought of as a tool to turn a computer, Iphone or Ipod Touch into a pair of speakers which Itunes or Airfoil will recognise and stream to.
