Intel high definition audio question

I have to replace a mother board and I have a high quality sound card for
recording. I have seen several boards with Intel high definition audio. Does
anyone have an opinion about the accessibility of that chip set regarding
accessibility of panel or sound quality. I intend to run a screen reader
through it.
