On some cd's there is a moment of silence at the beginning and end of the songs though it may be small. It could be enough to give a moment of silence between tracks. At this time the only thihng I can suggest is increase the last two numbers we set for "on end of track" ----- Original Message ----- From: "DJ DOCTOR P" <[email protected]>

High Robert,
No, how do you do that?
The play list that I have where it fades all of the tracks tightly, is a group of jazz tunes that I recorded myself. But the tracks in these other play lists that I have, are tracks that I ripped from CD's. Do those have to be edited in order for the cross fader in Winamp to work correctly with them?
 John.

Have you checked your files for trailing silence at the end of the track?

Hello all list members,
Just as the tidal says, I wish to do tight cross fading in Winamp.
But here is the funny thing.
With one play list that I have, Winamp fades them real tight.
But all the other play list that I have, this doesn't happen.
Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thinks in advance.
My best regards.
 John.
