High Brian,
That cassette deck can be used two different ways.
You can use it with the USB interface.
Or, you can use the RCA out jacks to run it strait in to your sound card.
Which enables you, to use any audio editing software you want to use.
Hope this helps.
My best regards.
 John.

Subject: i need someone clever

Hi, i have just bought a machine called, ion tape to pc. it is supposed to copy cassettes in to my computer and change the input in to mp3. it uses software called, ezconverter and itunes. so far i have got nowhere. firstly, i am using wineyes, and can't get into the menu for ezconverter. so, i have to have sighted assistance to even reach record, in ezconverter as i have no vision at all. also, although i have connected the ion through its USD port, i can't even hear any music coming through. in the past, i have used a straightforward cassette recorder, and soundforge. if i could only hear something coming from the ion machine, i would be happy to make my own mp3 or whatever with soundforge. if anyone is using this device, or the ezconverter and itunes soft ware who could help, i would be glad to hear from you. brian.
