you do not have to register to send anything on sendspace
When you are on the main screen look for upload and there should be a browse button nearby

Hello Chris,
With Send Space, you have to register to open an account with them.
The problem with that is, I can't find the link to do that on that website.
Other wise, I'd send her the .wav file.
Is there another solution to this problem?
 John.

Sorry John, but I guess I'm not going to be able to help. I'm not sure what you mean by load it into a PLS file. My understanding is that a PLS file is just a list of songs. If that list consists of streams, URL's to songs on the internet, then you would be able to play them as would your friend or the radio station. If the songs our on your PC then no one else will be able to play that PLS file.

Another option to send your friend a file might be a service like SendSpace at http://www.sendspace.com/.

High Chris,
I tried to send her this same song when it was a .MP3 file, but it wouldn't go through Outlook Express.
The .MP3 file, is 9.95-mb.
I tried to zip it and send it to her, but that didn't work either.
The zipped file, was 9.92-mb.
So the only way I knew I could send it to her, is to load it in to a .pls file. But funny how it doesn't work, because, the radio station that I work for, sends me .pls files all the time.
I don't have half the songs they send me in those play list.wpl files.
But yet, they play for me.
Sometimes, I will put together a play list.wpl and send it to them too as well, they don't have any problems playing them either.
So what is my friend missing here?
 John.

A PLS is a play list, so for your friend to be able to play it then for each song in the play list, they'd have to have the same song on their PC that you have on your PC and it would have to be in the same location on their PC that it is on your PC, unless every entry in the PLS file is a URL to a stream. It also looks like WMP needs a codex in order to recognize and play PLS files. I'm no expert on PLS files, I just know what I read at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PLS_%28file_format%29. Maybe someone else with more experience can weigh in if this doesn't help.

Hello All List Members,
Just as the title says,.pls files won't play.
I sent one of my friends a .pls file via email.
She couldn't play it.
What could be causing this problem for her?
Thinks in advance.
   John.
