Ok you will need a blank DVD then since as you stated 902MB is too large
for a CD and that is correct. Never burnt movies before so am not sure
on that one.

HI Chris,
I have two projects: I have a 920mb movie on My Document from which I want
to rip the audio an burn it to an audio disc. I have cdexe170 beta and
can't get started. I would also like to make a copy of this file as beta
format on a disc as a movie. Any help appreciated, Thanks, I tried to burn
the file with Express burn and found the file, 920mb was too large to burn
to a 702 mb disc. Don

You will need a program that "rips", or extracts the audio, from the CD
to a file format like Mp3. CDex, a free and very accessible CD
extraction utility, which is also an audio converter and recorder, will
do the job. I know you can get a copy from whitestick.co.uk, but am not
sure if it's an up to date version. Hope this helps.

Subject: A computer 101 question about copying.
Hi everyone, I feel rather dumb posting this question to this list of
highly skilled computer techs, but I can't figure out what to do but
ask for help.
Let me explain this situation.
I received a cd from a friend which contains music copied from a
real-to-real tape. It is just one 45-minute long file with no separate
tracks. My plan is to copy this cd from the cd drive to a folder in
the my music directory, then I will import this file to goldwave, and
make 10 tracks, one for each song on this disk, and them do more
editing as needed. This was not a commercial disk and I don't think it
is copy protected.
However, since there is no file name, other than track1, I don't know
how to copy the material. When I go to copy this long file to the
clipboard, all that copies and pastes is track 1, shortcut. I have
winamp 5-something, and windows media. I tried copying or sending this
long file to the designated folder, but all that coopies is the
shortcut name.
What am I doing wrong, or what do I need to do to correct this.
Thank you.
Vinny
