One other thing to check is that you have the proper speaker setup set
in the configuration of the sound card, for example stereo speakers,
5.1, 7.1, etc.

Don't know exactly how your card connects but both speakers probably
should 
be connected to one of the eighth inch sockets.  I wouldn't know which
is 
front or rear as I have a different Creative card.
