High Sam,
There maybe something that you forgot to check when you installed Winamp
5.572.
Go in to preferences and tab around until you get to file types.
Scroll up and down the list of file types.
If *.WMA isn't checked, then check it and close that window.
Now, Winamp should play *.WMA files for you without any problems.
Hope this helps.
My best regards.
John.

Subject: Winamp and *.wma Files
Hello, I am having a problem with the latest version of Winamp. Whenever I
try to play a *.wma file, it plays for a time and then it brings up the
following dialog. [Window Title]
Winamp
[Main Instruction]
Winamp has stopped working
[Content]
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close
the program and notify you if a solution is available.
[Close program]
It doesn't do that with other formats. Why am I receiving this problem?
