Good evening, Dan and all.
There may be a conflict between JAWS and the video attributes of the wave
form in Total Recorder. When I first began working with GoldWave JAWS would
cause the computer to crash after about 20 minutes or so of record or
playback. I finally resolved the problem by setting the video attributes to
the "blank" position in user control preferences on the advice of Rick
Harmon, developer and host of "The Blind Geek Zone." . I have had no prior
contact with Total Recorder but I would not be surprised if there isn't a
very similar cause and solution for the problem. I wish you the best of luck
as I have experienced the frustration first hand when trying to produce a
good audio file.
Best regards
Rob Tabor
