Good news, Tom. and Christopher, I'm glad you followed up on that part of
the question, which I neglected to. As I recall, the upgrade was made
available last November. I wish NLS had the ability to notify users of
firmware or other upgrades by email or on the download site instead of
expecting us to sift through messages from yet one more list. That is no
disparagement of this worthy PC-Audio list.

Last I checked that was the latest level of the NLS player firmware. Just to
be sure, I went to the BARD site myself and checked. It is still the latest
level of firmware.

Hello Adrian and list:  Just experimented a little with the "On-off" switch
after reading your post; I have a cartridge in there at the moment and..it
works just as yours does!  Perhaps I didn't quite have the right touch on
that button!  As for the Firmware..I've checked that out..and it is 2.1.3;
is this the latest one?
