Hi, Robert and John.

There are a few questions raised here. First, as Christopher and perhaps
other listers have pointed out, NLS isn't adding chapter and other
indications to  books recorded in pre-digital formats. Otherwise, their task
and our waiting time would be even more monumental.

Second, for the now thousands of books that have been marked up for the DTB
player, the advance player enables you to select how to move through a
book--by chapter, section, etc., depending on the book. This slection is
made with the menu button, in the center of the machine and below the
speaker.

Responding to John's concern about the desirability of moving back to
previous parts of a book, I find the bookmark feature on the advance player
a partial solution on non-marked-up books. You can create a huge number of
bookmarks with the button on the right-hand side and navigate to them with
the menu-related buttons.
