Nolan,

There is a work around for this if you want to do it. First close down
Skype. Navigate to the skype.exe file under your program files folder and
bring up the properties for it. Go under the compatibility tab and check
the compatibility mode box and set the OS to Vista and click ok. Now your
Skype window will close out like you are used to and won't be in the tab
order any longer. I did this with no ill effects that I could notice and
seems to work fine.

Subject: Re: Skype not closing in Windows 7

You know, I'm having the same problem with Skype. I can't get it to close in
Windows 7. I thought it was because I'm new to Skype. I'm sorry you're
having the same problem, but on the other hand, I have to admit to being a
little relieved as well. For what it's worth, I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.

Regards,

Nolan
