it is both a PCI card and a USB card, but the USB card is like a box where
yoou can connect to your stereo. and you can connect it to every PC which
have USB.

first I have a question for you, are you going to use this USB card for
regular listening to music, or are you going touse this to compose music, if
composing music, I recommend that you purchase the EMU 0404 sound card which
is small and easy to use.
