Hi,

If your sound card can monitor the input then:
1. Open the Sound dialog in the control panel on the playback page. A couple of
ways of opening this are either to type change sound into the start menu, or
from the context menu of the speaker icon in the notification area.
2. In the list on this page, select the current output device, and then open
its
properties dialog. You can do this either by pressing spacebar, or choosing
properties from its context menu.
3. Go to the levels page of the properties dialog. This should contain a
slider,
mute button, and balance button for each of the inputs that it can monitor.

Alternatively, windows 7 also provides a software playthough for any device,
though it does have a slight lag:
1. Open the sound dialog on the recording page.
2. In the list on this page select the device you want to monitor, and open its
properties.
3. On the listen page of the properties dialog, check the listen to this device
check box.

David.
