Hello,
Can anyone suggest a cheap soundcard, either USB or PCI (not Firewire),
that would be suitable for playback of basic system sounds (my screen
reader, system notification sounds, output of programs like Skype, etc)?
I've just taken delivery of a new Yamaha mixer and Delta 44 audio
interface, and for obvious reasons, don't want to use the Delta for
misc. system audio. My on-board card doesn't sound particularly
pleasing, and the other USB interface I have here isn't that great either.
