The author of Hope, i.e. Christopher Toth, writes Qwitter Client, a
hugely successful and widely used Twitter client that interfaces with
your screen reader. Not sure if you're a Twitter user yourself, but if
you are, you have undoubtedly heard of Qwitter. If not, visit:
http://www.qwitter-client.net
to check out the Qwitter Client website. I can say with 100% certainty
that this software works as claimed. HTH.
Previously, Adrian Spratt said:
Dean Martineau's current newsletter indicates that a software application
named Hope provides access for visually impaired people to Pandora, a
service I'd like to use.
I looked at the readme file for Hope, which looks promising. Then I googled
for consumer comments on how effective Hope actually is, but without
success. The results I checked, including a Fred's Head entry, all parrot
Hope's readme intro.
The creator of Hope is charging $10, which I don't begrudge if his program
works as claimed.
Has anyone on this list tried Hope? does anyone know anything about the
creator and his/her reputation for writing safe and dependable software?
Thanks.
