I have a couple of Behringer Xenix 1002 ten channel field mixers which I like a lot. you can use them on AC power or 3 nine volt batteries. you get 48 volt phantom power with a touch of a buttin for condenser microphones. they cost about $70.00 to $120.00 US dollars.

Hi all:
Just wondering if you guys could recommend
any good mixers.

I've heard of the Mackie Onyx 820I ,
but that's a bit towards the high end.

Do you think I'm better off saving up for, and getting a Mackie Onyx 820I or is
there any good one that would work
for podcasting/music production on a lower level price?

I don't want to spend more
mony then I have to on a mixer,
but at the same time
I want to make sure I don't buy a piece of junk.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jorge
