stuart, i use a speaker system from benwin. the 5.1 channel surround is excellent and the bass can do a lot of shaking as well. not only can you use these speakers for your computer you can use them for stereo units, cd players, dvd players tv and anything and everything you can imagaine plugging the speakers into. the set i have here gives a total out put power of 680 total wats of power. quite loud and really clear. the speakers are flat pannel but they give off the most sound i have heard from a speaker system the sub whooffer, is a down fireing one that has a 6.5 or 7 iinch bass speaker. which is quite good if not the best in bass response that you can get. also when the fuse goes out, you can replace that by your self.
