Ken,
My broblem is in the nut shell is, When following the tutorials that I've
found for us guys and girls, are for older versions of total recorder. So
when I'm being told to tab and I will find a dialog box, or a radio button,
and it not so, that puts me, someone who knows nothing about total recorder
exceptits a real good audio program,in a bad spot trying to learn the
program.
I appreciate the tutorials and the work that was done to help us, to the max
If I can get someone to jump start me and perhaps quickly explain a little,
it would be easier to follow the tutorials.
Thanks!
Carliss.

Ken,
I wouldn't want an older version of total recorder if I could follo the
tutorials that I have that are from older versions.
When the tutorial says tab and you will find such and such, the newer
version, which I really like, and their older version are not agreeing;
and
since I'm new with total recorder, I don't know where to goe to do what
I'm
being instructed to do.
Thanks! For your help though.
Carliss

Hi, there is nothing wrong with the new version of total recorder.
The have moved things around a little.
It has some things that it should have had a very long tine ago.
The monitoring function has ben improved . If your recording, turn this
monitor of if your using a microphone. It is most useful for line
recordings from a turntable or copying from a cassette or some other
device.
The choice of sound board and software recording is in the options menue .
The part that has not ben very well thaught out is this web recording ,
and
captureing.
If you copy and paste the url you would have gotten from winamp it will
play and record these paudio.
If you go to the
http://highcriteria.com site I don't think they have the earlier
versions
of total recorder there.
I still have earlier versions, but I don't know why you would want it,
because it doesn't have the things that make it better.
Thats my two drakmas.

Listers,
I'm rreally trying to learn how to use total recorder. However, all the
tutorials that I have found are older versions of the program, and much
of
the instructions are not the same. I'm using the latest version.
So if anyone know where I can get older versions of total recorder,
please
if you will, tell me so I may get it and learn the program?
Thanks!
