On this 64-bit Windows 7 system, I am running Winamp with a version number I think of 5.58. I am struggling with a weird problem whose source I hope someone on this list can pinpoint. I have used the uparrow to put the winamp volume to the max and have increased the sound card speaker volume to maximum. Yet the volume level on all mp3 files is substantially lower than it is using Windows media player. For what it's worth, the volume from my screen reader, Window-eyes 7.5, is appreciably louder than that from any mp3 file played in Winamp. Ideas and solutions, please.
