Hi keeth! melodyne is a note editor for vocals, you can use the right and left arrows on your keyboard to listen to the notes of the vocals of the song. then with a midi keyboard you can edit the actual notes. for example, let's say that you have a vocal part where a note is a little bit out of pitch, then you can use tha vocal wave file and go with the left and right arrows, and when you hear that note which is out of key, you can simply press one of the notes on the midi keyboard which is coresponding to that note in that key whoch the song is in. hope this helps.
