Does anyone know if it's possible to disable the Firewire port on a
Soundblaster Audigy card, and if so, how? I have another fw card I'd
prefer to use, and want to keep overall PC resources high and usage
low, so I thought if I could disable the fw port on the SB Audigy,
that might help. I know the driver is small, and it probably doesn't
take up any real measurable resources when it's not in use, but at
this point, any little bit would help. I've already figured out how to
remove the ASIO drivers from the registry, and somehow, magically,
when that happens, the drivers loaded at start time go away nicely and
I can replace them with other ASIO drivers for devices I really want
to use, but the same trick with Firewire eludes me at the moment.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.
