but the soundrecorder it is only record 5 minutes on windows xp and 2000 but in vista and 7 you canrecord longer. but you can use better program the goldwave oraudacity or audiograbber

please follow the steps
1 take a caset player
2 connect 1 end to caset player and onether end to your pcwith your 3.5 mm jack
3 open sound recorder from your pc
3 play the audio caset from the player
once its start to play please click on record in your sound recorder+b+
