You need a program like Media Catcher to download and convert Youtube videos. If you're only going to use this program for this purpose, consider it as a sort of freeware. However if you want to download and convert media from other sources, then the demo limits you to the first half of the converted output; the rest well you will have to pay for.

enter and then it tells me that the programme is connecting.  After a few
