Open the Windows 7 Control Panel and select "Hardware and Sound." From
there, click the Sound link and a dialog box will open allowing you to
adjust various sound settings. On the Recording tab, select the microphone
you want to monitor from the list of audio devices and click Properties,
then on the Listen tab of the Properties dialog, check the "Listen to this
device" checkbox. The "Playback through this device" dropdown box allows
you to choose the device through which you will be able to monitor your
audio input. Note that there will be a small delay (probably anything
between 100 and 800ms) between input and output.
