Hi. So what program do u have to use to get these. I used newsgroups back in the day of unix and shell accounts and now I understand it is alot easier. Do these services make downloading easier too? Or do I have to get software to do all of my downloading and decoding?

Go to http://www.supernews.com or http://www.giganews.com or
http://www.easynews.com and register. They all have different plans
and pricing, but my fave is the Giganews plan for about $2/mo for all
you can download.

Get yourself a Usenet account with either Supernews or Giganews, then
subscribe to alt.binaries.sounds.karaoke and download to your heart
and hard drive's content. All the major labels are
represented--Sunfly, Singer's Choice, one with Gold in the name, I
forget what it's really called, ... more stuff than you could ever
sing in a lifetime!

hi, I'm still trying to collect as much karaoke music as possible.
The software to play the tracks is still a problem for me.
I haven't found the perfect program to open and play these files as yet.
If you could help with this, I would be grateful indeed,

Billy

hi guys, I have been asked by friends to be the Jock at their new year
karaoke party.
I have never done such a thing before, and I'm now in a panic.
If anyone can advise me or give me some tips on running this party, it
would be great.
The other query; I'm going to use my laptop computer for playing the KAR

tracks, and I'm wondering if there is a good accessible piece of
software
to play these files?. I realize there are add ons for winamp and WMP,
but
I would rather have a dedicated karaoke playing program if possible.
Any help or advice in this matter would be much appreciated indeed,

Billy
