I think that when you go to the NCH web site through the purchase link, you are presented with various options such as basic or plus and various other program bundles. They're pushing the plus version so it will be hard to miss that option.
I believe that you can simply install over your current version without a problem. If you're concerned, remove the old one and install the new one. If you want to keep using your demo version without the fancy features, I think you can do that. What you do is go to the Add/Remove utility, find Express Burn and then when you are on the "remove" button, you should be able to arrow up or down to use Express Burn or something like that. It will still work as the demo. If you want the additional features, then you'll have to buy the program and some of those features are pretty nice to have.
