Ah, I'm not trying to moderate this list! IMHO, the moderator already does a great job. That is one job I don't want, and I'm fine with letting someone else do it! :-)
I'm also perfectly fine with abiding by his decisions. All I meant to do below is point out what he specified when he set up this list and what I personally thought that meant with respect to his intent for this list. I'm not sure how many people look at the info page for a given list or the introductory message they get when they sign up for a list before they start figuring out what is and isn't on topic or what is and isn't appropriate for the list. On some lists, you used to see periodic reminders of the lists guidelines, but that practice seems to have fallen by the way side, since I don't think I've seen that practiced much lately. Even with a clear statement on what's on and off topic for a list, things are still open to interpretation, which is why I think it's important to occasionally get a decision from the moderator on some of the Grey topics. I have my own opinions on where to set the boundaries for this list, and I gave them below, along with my reasons, but as I said, I'm perfectly OK with whatever the moderator decides, and you won't see me questioning his decision or arguing with him on this list. This is his list, and I'm just trying to be respectful to his intentions and the time and commitment he makes to setting up and moderating this list.
