greetings, further to use of voiceover, the format of the file into which you mixh and of the sample you wish to mix must be the same, i.e sampling rates Etc.
Place the start marker at the point from which you wish the mix to begin, make sure the sample you wish to mix is in the clipboard, then apply the mix, adjusting the fade in and fade out as desired. You will find in the menu fade background to silence, fast fade which causes the background to rise when gaps in the stream you are mixing such as between phrases, or slow fading, which fades the background and the reduction stays longer so the gaps remain shown with a lower background.
