Subject: files question

hello, recently i was given a pen drive on which there were 21 m4.a files,
i want to change them in to mp3 files, sound forge won't do it for me as it
doesn't see them, i have windows seven and media player classic, i'm told i
could do it in winamp is that correct? any help will be really appreciated,
god bless, travel safely, joe bollard.
