Hi all. I have virtual audio cable in my system so I can basically
redirect any audio signal to any device on my system. For the first
time, my window eyes cannot find it's eloquence, though if I tell in
window eyes to use "line one" of my virtual audio cable and then tell
the little monitor program to direct line one to my sound card, I can
hear eloquence. If I tell window eyes to direct eloquence to my
sound card, I hear nothing at all. Every other device finds my sound
card ok, so I wonder why window eyes cannot?
I've been around the barn on this one, re-booting, rearranging my USB
devices to see if that is the culprit, having a USB microphone which
shows up as an output or "playback" device, etc. so, any ideas at all
will be helpful!
I cannot, for example either, tell window eyes's new "vocalizer"
synthesizers to look for my sound card since they cannot see it but
they will see my virtual audio cable line one just fine, hmm?
Even window eyes's "dectalk" does not see any device unless I direct
it to "line one," of my virtual audio cable, etc. so I wonder if the
is something I can do within window-eyes or my computer?
both jfw and window-eyes cannot now see any sapi voices, though jfw
works fine with it's vocalizer synthesizer, so . . . the puzzle and
scratching of the head time is happening over here.
