As for coppying your CDs goes, why Windows Media Player can do it. You'll
have to go into Windows Media Player's tules menu first, choose Options,
then go to the wrip tab, then go threw all the options. Choose what you need
and set it up. One of the thindgs you'll choose here is the audio format. Go
with 320 KBPS if you insist on MP3 for MP3 best quality. I'd stay with PCM
WAV, but that's just me since I'm a purest. As for connecting the PC to the
stereo, well wires are one way, there's also FM transmitter, but you won't
control the PC since it'll be up stares this way. Then there's something
like bose's sound Link I think it's called. I don't know how far away the PC
is from the stereo other then that it's up stares though. Start with the
basic though, getting the CDs on the PC.

Subject: play mp3 files on stereo

I would like to talk to someone about how to put all of my cds on my
computer and connect the computer to the stereo. I loaded five cds into my
15 year old demon cd changer last night and realized it is time to put all
these cds on the computer and connect it to the stereo. I understand there
are wireless devices that can connect the two together. The computer is
upstairs and the stereo down. But I want to have control while listening in
the living room downstairs. I have an old dell computer with windows xp that
I could put downstairs next the stereo and use a cable to hook them
together. And I would have toe computer key board and jaws to pick folders
and such. I am very new at this. What would be the best program that works
with jaws for copying, and playing cds and converting them to mp3. thanks
