This querky behavior shows up in a number of ways when selecting
contiguous files.
The way I work around this is to select the files to be copied in
reverse order.
Then just copy or cut and then paste as you always would.

control/A, and copy them to the clipboard. I then go the compulation
window and paste them into that window, and proceed to burn them.
After the burn is complete, I find that track 6 is now 1, and 1 is
now 2, and so on.
How may I take action to stop this from happening?
