I bought the blue microphone with its stand about 5 years ago but returned it.
I didn't like it since it didn't seem to have enough gain and to much proximity
effect. The only control on the mic was a small switch, but all that did was
pad down the gain even more. Have they changed the blue yetti since then? I'd
be interested in hearing an audio sample of voice from different distances from
the mic if you can send one. Please tell me the sound card or mother board
audio your using. The sound card I used to test the Yetti was a sound blaster
X-FI stream music. Thanks. Joe.
