I am no sound ingineer or audio professional so I only set it to the volume
which sounded reasonably good. But I certainly agree it could go even lower
and you would still get good quality.
Hopefully at least you could follow my Boer accent!!

Joe
These are two very short files I recorded for a friend of mine.
One of them is with the microphone on its desktop stand and the other
one with the microphone on a separate stand.
This was with the windows volume control set on 50 persent and the
gain control at the top to the minimum position.
The patern position switch is set to the second position for recording
in front of the microphone.

I'm sorry, I gave you incorrect information. It was the yetti and it
was a USB mic. I just didn't realize it doesn't use the sound card as
well to work. But that was my mistake. I'm sure it was the yetti.
Thanks. Joe and if you know if they changed anything on it in the last
five years. Also if you could, would you send a short audio sample
using it. Thanks. Joe.
