Steve, I don't have a copy of Sound Forge here at work or I would be more specific, but when I am going to delete something I use the key that reads the pre-roll and post-roll without reading the selection which I believe is CONTROL-K. This, in effect, shows me how the delete will work without actually performing the deletion. That allows me to avoid having to undo the action. This also allows me to see in advance that my selection isn't what I expected. I've had the same problem that you have had where sometimes it seems that the beginning of my selection is stuck at a previous point instead of where I just marked. I've had this problem with a good number of versions of Sound Forge now so I assume this is probably not a bug but rather something I am not understanding. It is probably obvious visually. <smile>
