I know this is possible, and I understand how to do it, I just don't know *what* to do. My problem is that in SF10, my eight-channel Mackie 820I shows up in the routing matrix with each channel appropriately enabled, and each channel assigned to route to its own identically numbered spot along the grid line. But what I'm getting when I record is only my first two channels, which, thankfully, are the left and right channels of my stereo microphone. But I want to record that microphone in mono, both capsules activated, and pan the 820I's pots to dead center. This does not work. No matter what I do, I cannot use those panners to reposition anything. So, my question is, what is the proper routing if I want to record from the main output from the 820, which is on channels 7 and 8, and suppress everything else?
