Rhapsody works well. You can get it for only $5 per month, but you can't use
it on a mobile device at that price. And there's a set of Jaws scripts
called Rhapsody Blind that improves access in the Rhapsody application. If
you like classical, Naxos Music Library also works. It unfortunately uses
Flash, but is navigable. One problem for those of us in the US is we can't
listen to recordings made before 1972 on Naxos. Naxos has a plan for just
$20 a year, but it includes far fewer albums than the regular Naxos Music
Library. Also, you have to start each song individually. You can't just
listen to a whole album without physically starting each song.

Subject: Subscription music - do you bother shopping around?
Hi!
This article is from an Australian writer but I wouldn't mind betting that
the conditions he describes are duplicated in other countries.
I've been using Spotify for the last year and have been - on the whole -
very happy with the service, I have a premium account.
My only annoyance with the service is that I can't use it on a Windows or
Mac machine as the Spotify software - last time I tried it - was
completely inaccessible so I use Spotify in other ways, _ I can use it on
my Raspberry Pi using XBMC, can use it from my Denon AVR2113 Receiver or
from the Spotify App on my IOS devices, I've not tried the Spotify App for
Android as yet -.
The article linked to here talks about shopping around for other services,
I tried the "Rdio" service mentioned in the article but didn't get too far
with it, has anyone had any success with "Rdio" or any other subscription
based services?
