Thanks, don. I saw a couple of those but decided instead to spend $40 and
get a regular Panasonic recorder to do the transfers. It doesn't have a line
out,but I can maake it work.

tim i just remembered and looked and amazon has a usb tape player for $17.
I think it will do what you want and in fact it may witgh software record
the files at high speed.
