Hi all,

I'm aware of two internet streams of the Australian Open which may suit
Kevin and others as an alternative to XM Radio. There is AO Radio from the
Australian Open website and the ABC Radio Grandstand stream. The AO Radio is
global and I think the ABC Grandstand stream is also. A convenient way to
locate them may be from my web page under the Special Events heading.
Phe url to my page is

Good luck,

It is also being streamed over the internet at

I assume it is not geo-blocked for those outside Australia.

Thanks,

Hi.

To make this PC related, I use an XM PCR which connects to a PC via the USB
port. It's pretty nice, displaying title and artist of the channels.
Unfortunately, thanks to the infinite wisdom of the RIAA, it's not being
made anymore. They were afraid people could record the station's content to
their hard drives. Oh well, that's to explain why I sent this to the
PC-Audio list.

My question is what channel on XM is broadcasting the Australian Open
Tennis? I can get it through ESPN, but I'd like a play by play of what's
going on, and last year when I tuned in it was pretty good.

Thanks for any help.
